West Pack Job Offer Email Scam

There are fake e-mails and fraudulent job offers circulating on social media from people pretending to represent West Pack Lifestyle. These are hoaxes. Please ignore any request to send your personal details or make any payment whatsoever before coming for an interview. We would never operate in this way.

These adverts encourage applicants to apply for non-existent jobs at West Pack Lifestyle by sending your CV to a gmail email address (eg westpackvancies@gmail.com), requesting payment of a fee before you can can start. The email states that your application has been successful and before you may start training you are required to pay a R250 deposit fee for background checks. You are then encouraged to make payment at a PEP store with the code 2020, and to email the proof of payment to westpackcheck@gmail.com, This is false information by a scam artist and has no connection whatsoever to West Pack Lifestyle.

West Pack Lifestyle would never request anyone to pay any fee to be considered for a job interview.

In reality, you are not being considered for a job opportunity with West Pack Lifestyle, but rather you may have been tricked into sending money to a scam artist. West Pack Lifestyle conducts its own recruitment and any request for an interview will always come from an @westpacklifestyle.co.za email. Never from a @gmail.com email address.
